Well Levi was on another business trip this last week to Washington DC again. It was a bummer that I couldn't go with him but I had some fun with the family again. I made some caramel apples with my sister Jamie on Wednesday and had a lot of fun. It's always fun being able to talk with her and keep up this little tradition we started last year. We attempted them before and let's just say they weren't the best. It seemed like nothing was working out! We burnt the caramel and then the chocolate was too hot so it sluffed off a bit. NOT PRETTY! So i won't even put those pictures on :)
It's kind of hard to see but there is a little bag in front of that guard. It was left there in front of the White House so all the guards kept shouting "Get back!" because the thought it was a bomb or something. By the time everyone was cleared, they dared go up to it and found what was in the bag. Guess what was actually in it?! Just a souvenir hat. Funny huh! All that alarm for nothing. Good story though!
Levi took some awesome pictures while he was there. DC is such a cool place! There's so much to do but a whole lot of walking too!
